The month of July started off great with Michael's promotion, but went downhill quickly with yet another respiratory infection for Caleb. Before he got sick, he was was all smiles though! He has expounded upon his vocabulary and likes his "yellow dar", "black dar", and his yellow ball. He loves to sing songs that he makes up (especially at the dinner table) and they usually involve mama-gaggy-and me ... he also loves to help with "puppy and kitty" (getting their dishes and giving them dry food), and was excited to have "mo wa-wa" (swim lessons). Unfortunately, he got sick so he was only able to make 2 of the lessons :/
Cheesin' it up:
Giving baby girl kisses:
Smiles with Mama:
One of the two swim lessons :)
...and sick.
Trying to eat the mist from the diffuser:
Snuggling in bed with Mommy and Daddy early one morning when he couldn't sleep:
Once he got better we went down to Fredericksburg to Eileen's cafe for some breakfast!
Who needs pants to ride a scooter. Not this guy.
I finally got out the little pool on a hot day and he got to play with the hose for the first time:
36 weeks!
Not amused.
Two of two swim lessons (flirting with the girl next to him) :)
Kicking while on the ducky:
Sweet Piggy (such a trooper)!
Hamming it up at the park swings on base!
Seriously. No paparazzi!
More swings on base:
Such a helper - he rolled our grocery basket the entire time in the commissary!
37 weeks!
Snuggles on the couch:
Waking up from his nap :)
Hanging out with Mama in the garage because she is uber preggo:
Caleb had been blinking a whole lot so we got his eyes checked out - they dilated his eyes so he got to wear these sweet shades!
We celebrated 10 years of marriage!
... and Michael surprised me with some new diamonds :)
... our entire wedding party :)
38 weeks!
After having a sweet treat at DQ!
Yaya and Papi got here (in case baby girl came early) and Caleb was in hog heaven with all the snuggles and attention!
Sharing some spaghetti with Yaya:
Caleb played LOTS of tractor racing with Papi:
They even built a tunnel to drive the tractors through:
Blocks with Yaya:
Swinging on the tire swing:
Riding scooters and bikes:
Afternoon snacks/snuggles with Yaya:
I lost sight of my thighs :/ and baby girl liked to contort my belly from one side to the other:
Morning playtime down in the basement:
Riding the scooter with Yaya and Sasha:
39 weeks!
Lots of coloring and stickers with Papi:
We even walked down to the park (trying to induce labor!) and the slide was a little hot for Papi!
Caleb wouldn't let anyone else pull the wagon back ...
We looked like the meanest parents ever making the 2 year old pull his own wagon back to the house. He wouldn't let anyone near it though!
Pulling the wagon wore him out and he got (yet again) ... another respiratory infection. Ugh.
Still no baby girl.
