P-Mo was in town for the first few days of July so we went down to La Jolla Shores to see the beach!
Caleb was tuckered out after the beach trip (and because he refuses to nap in the car).
After nap snuggles with a puppy, a bink, and a sock monkey lovey!
Taking puppy for a ride!
Crabby pjs ... how appropriate.
We went to Mira Mesa's 4th of July parade!
Trying to get some attention from the Chick-fil-a cow :)
Yeah!
Taking a stroll with Daddy!
My boys!
After the fireworks, someone got an impromptu mom haircut!
Much better!
We went down to the park next to our house to watch fireworks - but Caleb got busy (trying to push the stroller) so we walked home and put him to bed while we watched fireworks out of our bedroom window :)
Eating cheerios and looking out the screened door:
His bloomers fit!
Playing with Mama's shoes:
We started packing out so we had to go and grab coffee and breakfast at Cotixan - our favorite Mexican restaurant.
First day moving company!
Caleb had some toys to play with while they packed up the upstairs:
Helping Daddy unplug electronics:
Blurg.
Our bedroom for the next 5 days. Double blurg. At least we were below the ceiling fan (albeit it was in the kitchen) so we stayed cool!
Caleb liked being able to get on the mattress by himself!
First moving company finishing up!
Between packers we were able to swing by the University to pick up our diplomas - WHOOP! We graduated with our MBAs! The whole first 4-5 months after Caleb was born are still a little blurry, but we did it!!
Eating watermelon in his new portable seat!
He loves the watermelon!
Definitely up to something!
Ugh - the packers decided to unzip and DUMP all of our old baby clothes into boxes. Soooo after 45 minutes on the phone, Michael was able to convince them that they needed to be resealed and repacked. Lucky me got to refold everything and then Michael got to reseal everything. Worst. Movers. Ever.
After the packout debacle, Michael loaded the Pony on a truck to have it transported back East. :*(
Only the cars are left to load!
Loading her up!
Since there was nothing in our house, we grabbed some lunch and went to the park so Caleb could play :)
Michael and Linda had us over for dinner so we didn't have to eat out again - the best friends we could ask for!
Auntie Linda and Caleb!
.... on the road again.
This time to Texas ... final destination: Ft. Lee, VA!
