My 29th Bday

After the performance on Camp Butler, we went to Ali Baba in American Village. YUM!! I got my all-time fave: butter chicken curry with a big piece of nan :P

Michael made my cake ... he was taking a long time to get the camera ready ... (thats my excuse anyway):

To finish up birthday week, we went up north to Camp Schwab to stay at the cabins on Oura Wan Bay. I requested Sangria for my beverage of choice - this is Michael getting the pitcher ready in the kitchen:

Katie, Jack and Dean came up to help us celebrate - we had an amazingly beautiful day to enjoy great company! Jack-man had lots of sunscreen on ... enough to give him a mohawk!

The clouds stayed on the other side of the island the whole day! Eventually, the beach got more populated with Marines who decided to take advantage of the awesome weather too:

Marine Corps Silent Drill Team and Drum & Bugle Corps

We were lucky enough on Okinawa to be treated to a performance by the Marine Corps Silent Drill Team and Drum & Bugle Corps - on my birthday! The Silent Drill Team is much like the Fish Drill Team at Texas A&M so I had an idea of what to expect, but it was still an amazing show to get to see!
