The incrediblock ... a year later!

What a difference a year makes! He was so little playing with the incrediblock last December (7 months)!

He's such a big boy now compared to then! He's moved 2 times and gone from the West coast to the East coast within the last 12 months!

November 2013

November started off kind of rough for all of us since we were all still sick :(
Caleb started off with his 18 month well baby appointment. He was 31.5" and 22.5 lbs. We had just been at the clinic three days before when he had been diagnosed with croup - thankfully he was starting to feel a little better by the time of his checkup.
He still wasn't 100% so we bundled up in his new hat and gloves for the trek ... he even got to hold his lovey all day.

He had to get some vaccinations so the nurses gave him some stickers to play with!

The doc tested for anemia (negative!) so he had to have blood drawn :( He was such a trooper!

When we got home he learned how to "cheers" with our orange juice:

He still had to take medicine ... and he hated it. We tried to coat his tongue with nutella (doc's recommendation) and he still got mad at us!

So he got lots of snuggle time with both of us :)

... and took Daddy's crocs on and off and on and off and ...

The long nights were wearing on Daddy and Caleb!

But he didn't miss a "ba"!

I. was. exhausted.

This kid always has some sort of sports toy in his hands ...

Daddy wanted to see our new hat and gloves:

Happy boy with Daddy!

We went to our favorite park and Daddy let Caleb hold on to the turny thing:

By himself! He's gonna be a CrossFit kid ;)

He is super good at the stairs now.

Daddy and his big buddy heading out to play in the leaves:

Daddy throwing leaves on him:

Trying to open the red barn door:

Wrasslin' with Daddy!

Stink. Pot. He only climbs in there to try and get the wires in the back ... so we blocked it off and now he has no interest.

Morning cuddles with Daddy before he went to class:

Charlie Brown Thanksgiving!

... followed by Harry Potter!

Back in the leaves ...

He was finally sitting still ...

... and then realized I was taking his picture:

Someone got new dinosaur slippers!

My sweet boy :)

Bailey claimed the empty basket as her own!

King of his throne in the bedroom!

He got up before I could zip up his pjs after a diaper change and then wore them around like a cape:

This is Piggy's snake. Caleb has claimed it for his own and it is one of his favorite toys. He likes to swing it around and yell "a-boom"!

Coloring!

While packing for our trip to Atlanta we found his monkey hat - it totally made this outfit. :/

We went down to Atlanta to have Thanksgiving with Michael's Dad, Jan, sister and husband! Bad weather was predicted, but we luckily escaped the worst of it and had a GREAT trip!! We stopped for some lunch and Caleb was too quick for Daddy and grabbed a french fry!

Granddad Steve with Caleb!

Krista and Caleb:

Being a little monkey with Daddy:

Steve carving the turkey:

Marcus at the ready in case anything fell. He was definitely on his game ... especially with Caleb around to drop food!

Everyone bustling in the kitchen! It was so amazing to NOT have to cook!!

Pigdog just hung out :)

Krista, Michael, Jan and Steve

Piggy made herself at home in Marcus' OSU bed:

Caleb took such an awesome 3.5 hour nap that he missed Thanksgiving dinner!

He ate when he got up and he thoroughly enjoyed the fare!

I love love love my little turkey!

Jan had lots of fun playing with Caleb!

... she even got to rock and snuggle with him one night!

Neiman finally came out to socialize.

... and then decided we weren't so bad without the little one running around (Bailey would agree)!

Caleb playing hide-and-go-seek under the table:

... and trying to learn how to play with Marcus.

Afternoon snuggles before his nap:

Jumping on/over the big ball upstairs!

We also went to the neighborhood park and Caleb had a blast!
A fish to ride on!

Teeter-tottering with Aunt Krista!

... and then we were tired of leftovers so we went out for sushi our last night there ;)

Krista and Roger got their tree and Caleb was in awe (me too - it was beautiful!):

... and then we saw this monstrosity on the way home. hmmm...

We had to go to the store the day after we got back and Caleb rode in one of the little car carts for the first time ... looks pretty chill, huh!?

Almost Christmas time again!
