August 2015

Lexi turned one this month!! (but she'll get her own post) :) We had a lot of fun with P-Mo while she visited!
Caleb helped her make muffins:

We took an impromptu picnic down on the Potomac:

Caleb still loves watermelon:

We took Caleb out to wade at the little beaches:

We also went to the National Zoo!

Caleb REALLY loves the pandas! We were able to see Bao Bao (the baby panda) and we saw the Mama panda who they thought was pregnant (turned out she was and was pregnant with twins!)

Lexi got a new hat and lots of Daddy snuggles:

Checking out the elephants:

We got a great view of one of the pandas playing with a ball!

Whoop booty!

All tuckered out - too much fun!

P-Mo was able to find the original Batman with Adam West and Caleb quickly became obsessed!

Lexi still enjoyed toodling around during swim lessons!

That morning hair!!

P-Mo played lots of soccer, basketball and legos down in the basement!

Sweet Pea is finally 1 year old!

Gettin' her Bubby!

Daddy snuggles right when he gets home from work.

Caleb did AMAZING with Miss Tiffany at swim lessons! Oftentimes the other kids didn't show up so it was a one on one session with her and he learned so much!

She gave him a super special present at the end of her 4 weeks with him :)

Michael is leaving for school soon so I made him take pictures to make a Daddy Doll for Caleb and a Daddy blanket for Lexi :*(

Morning snuggles!

P-Mo attempted at teaching Caleb 'go fish' ...

... but they eventually went back to memory :P

Is there something on my face?

Daddy's little helper.

Practicing "touchdown" for Aggie Football!

Under the kitchen table ...

Lovin' on a baby doll.

Caleb got REALLY sick. He is the worst sick kid ever. He whines and moans every time he moves and/or coughs which makes it even worse. He is up ALL night long. Eventually he crashed in the basement while watching Batman.

He got so bad that we took him in and he had pneumonia :(
Poor bubs had to have breathing treatments every 4 hours.

We couldn't help it ... he looks like a little elf with his ears pulled down from the mask.

Luckily, Daddy was able to come help with the initial treatments.

Then we got a nebulizer sent to our house so we could keep giving him treatments.

One awesome thing that happened this month is that my old Aggie roomie stopped by and had Michael promote her to Lieutenant! It was such a low-key affair, but so very special for us!

LT Tieu!!

So proud of everything that she does!

Friends forever!!

Caleb got to play the iPad while he was sick.  He was super happy.  I wasn't.

Cruising through Costco.

Something was super funny about this Captain America car.

Checking out his new lunchbox before pre-school starts! We practiced for a couple weeks so that he knew how to use it before I sent him off with it :)

I love these pjs. Her little monkey booty and feet are the cutest!
She likes to look at the books in the new reading corner!

... and stickers.

She also LOVES getting her Bubby's attention.

I'm hungry. And happy!

Little dog doesn't get all the attention anymore and really values sleeping in. The kids don't allow that to happen very often so she is oftentimes still really sleepy when we make her get up from bed.

Just hanging out in Mama's bathroom.

We went and had lunch at the park on base. Daddy met us there and did a quick workout while we ate!

Play time!

Helping Daddy get ready for work in the morning.

Goodbye kisses!

That face!

Eating sushi.

We got some frozen yogurt afterwards - that was Caleb and Lexi's favorite part :)

He likes to make sure his cape is flying behind him when he runs.

Checking on his cape.

Her first time toddling out past the driveway!

We went and checked out RVs on a Saturday (hopefully we'll have a future RV so we can start camping as a family!) Afterwards we grabbed some Chic-Fil-A and had lunch on the back deck (the mosquitos weren't biting and it wasn't too humid)!

Someone has started getting Cheerios in the morning and is super excited about it!

So. Determined.

Nothing is going to stop this little girl. As soon as she sets her mind to do something, she doesn't stop until its done! (BTW - she definitely climbed the slide to the top) :)

Daddy was able to make Lexi's 1 year well baby appointment!

Caleb is pretty tight with Nurse Shelly so he still came away with a sucker even tho he didn't have anything done today :P

Still loves Baileycat.

Too close little girl ... Bailey is outta here!

Finally going potty standing up! WHOOP!!! This is a HUGE win!!

I had to take a pic ... Donald finally beat Mickey (and Caleb is always Mickey). Anyone who's played this game knows that this is a miracle. The odds are stacked against anyone who isn't Mickey!!

Caleb helped me bake Michael's birthday cake!

It is the prettiest Italian Creme Cake I've ever made!

Bowl head.

Bath time!

I LOVE the looks she gives her Daddy during bath time :)

He's hiding.

So excited to see Daddy see his birthday balloons!

Cards from the kids!

It is a simple affair these days.

Daddy and his bebes before work.

That outfit. I can't get enough of her little booty in those pants!

That's MY girl!

Celebrating Daddy!

Helpers.

Lovin' some cake (he picked out the Super Mario Bro plates)!

Little daredevil!

Mommy kisses.

Drinking and driving :/

Playing at the park on base!

So determined!

Double bath!

She loves her princess wand. I'm not a big fan when she throws it on my toes.

This spoon went everywhere with her for a few days!

Granny J and Grandad Steve sent some really cool trick cars - Caleb is just a little OCD with them being lined up.

... and then Lexi wants to "help".

Her favorite spot.

Early morning bubbles on the deck!

Checking out the leaves.

This is the face she makes when she is really excited about something!

Little sweetness.

Her favorite spot to "hide" and play.

Caleb wanted to eat outside but it was hot and muggy. So he went outside with his new lunchbox and ate by himself. When did he get so big!?
