Rome: Vatican City, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica

On day 2 we went to Vatican City - it was only a short 2 hour wait to get in the city!

After seeing the Sistine Chapel (no pictures), we climbed up to the top of the dome on St. Peter's Basilica. Looking down in the basilica from the lower part of the dome:
