Hiji Falls

We finally got to Hiji Falls and the hike was beautiful. Lots of spiders though. Big ones. It was so incredibly hot, humid, sticky, nasty, disgusting...but that is what we expected. When we got home we saw that it was a black flag day (no PT'ing outside)...nice. It only took about 40 minutes to get to the falls, uphill, and then around 25 minutes to get back to the car:
This was the first little bridge we came to:

There were lots of steep steps! Here is the suspension bridge (about 1/2 way to the falls). It was very wobbly in the middle and I didn't care for it:...and you can tell from the grimace on my face:Looking down from the bridge:These people didn't even bother with getting to the falls, they just stripped down and jumped in!
Looking up at the falls (where you can see the people):from a higher vantage point:The rocks along the way were very beautiful with all of the greenery:We made it!

Heading down to cooler temperatures (notice the sign on the rocks that was warning of Habu snakes - the signs were everywhere along the paths!)

Me relaxing by the cool water:Michael jumped out to the middle rock for some pictures:There were only a handful of people there when we arrived:One of the pictures Michael took from below the falls:Michael next to the falls:This is what it looked like when we left - packed!

After we were done we headed to Pizza In The Sky - and it was well worth a second trip back!!

The weather looks so nice compared to our rainy day today! I'm jealous.
